We know many of you are working to build Crisis Care Kits for District Assembly. Thank you! We have an additional request in support of missions.
Our youth will have first-hand experience packing Crisis Care Kits this year—just in a different format. Nazarene Youth Conference participants will be sorting and packing Crisis Care Elements into “Wonder Packs” onsite in Salt Lake City as a part of their Mission with Others project. This is a great opportunity for NMI in your church to support our youth! On WAPAC, we are seeking funds from both churches and individuals that will be provided to the youth. Representatives from the WAPAC NMI Council will join the youth as they purchase the items to incorporate into these Wonder Packs. The youth will haul these items to Salt Lake City.
Action: Please work with your church community to share about this opportunity to support our youth and help them learn about missions. You can share stories about the impact of Crisis Care Kits. Funds should be sent to WAPAC NMI Treasurer Karen Humber by May 15 at PO Box 144, Ilwaco, WA 98624.
Tip: If you received extra funds from the last fiscal year that came in for missions and you need to designate to a worthy cause, this is a great way to do so!
