NMI 110th Anniversary Project

The missionary healthcare fund is beginning to run low. This important fund provides health insurance and medical care for missionaries and their families. The Nazarene Missionary Medical Plan pays for insurance that typically covers diagnosis of physical conditions and diseases, dental/vision/auditory health care, evacuation by air and ground ambulance when needed, physical exams for Nazarene missionary families, treatment of childhood diseases and injuries for missionary kids, hospitalization, emergency care, prescription medications, surgical procedures, maternity care and mental health services.

We endeavor to honor and care for our missionaries from deployment through retirement, blessing missionaries as they cross borders with the good news of Jesus, and blessing those who have given their lives to missions, now retired and facing the challenges of living on fixed incomes in volatile economic environments.

Won’t you join us in this very important anniversary year to celebrate and support our missionaries by lifting the burden of growing healthcare expense?

Action: Share about this need with your churches (including the needs the fund addresses!). Perhaps give someone a Distinguished Service Award, which provides supports the fund. Consider a special offering specifically for this need. Encourage your people to become engaged in helping our missionaries through this really important fund! Please mark offerings “Missionary Healthcare, fund 215.”
