Go Global with Your Video!
Nazarene Missions International has an NMI Impact Creativity Contest, and the goal is for each church (including yours!) to participate! All it takes is a heart to advocate for global missions, some creativity, and a cell phone! Your video could go global at the 2027 Global NMI Convention!
Maybe you don’t know how to make a video, but we bet somebody in your church does— especially younger generations. This is a great opportunity to work with youth, children, and others with skills who may not currently be engaging with missions.
The contest is meant to showcase how your church is creatively implementing JUST ONE of our Areas of Impact (Prayer, World Evangelism Fund, Alabaster, Engaging Children and Youth, and Care & Connection with Nazarene Missionaries). You can learn more about these Areas of Impact on our homepage.
What You Need to Do in Your Church:
- Promote the contest! Here is a flyer you can print (add your contact info)! View and share this example video made by NMI Regional Coordinators.
- Select ONE example of a single Area of Impact you can feature!
- Between now and May 2026, make a ONE-minute vertical video that shows what you did! Keep the emphasis on strong VISUALS; words can be present, but they will not be translated for our global audience.
- Ensure your video file is correctly named. District, City, Local Church Name (without “Church of the Nazarene”) and Area of Impact Featured with NO dashes, slashes, or punctuation. (Ex: Aurora Community Church in Shoreline, Washington, on the WAPAC District would enter their video featuring WEF this way: WAPACShorelineAuroraWEF or Enumclaw Nazarene Church in Enumclaw, WA featuring Alabaster would name it WAPACEnumclawEnumclawAlabaster).
- Submit the video in the USA/Canada folder.
See the full instructions and access graphics (English, Spanish and Portuguese).
Submissions will be reviewed by a WAPAC district committee and one winning video for each of the 5 Areas of Impact will be submitted to the USA/Canada region for consideration. The winning videos from USA/Canada will be featured during the 2027 Global NMI Convention! We have many creative minds on our District—let’s do this!
